Our community is often marginalized when it comes to accessing health care. The pandemic made it even more clear how we suffer.  Some are without English language skills, families without capacity to easily access services.  Some are without health insurance. Health encompasses forms of mental well-being promoted by arts education. CAF provides translation services in health care settings, offers programming focused on health in our bodies, and minds. CAF participates in Berkeley’s Health Justice internship program.  CAF offers well-being through vibrational healing community events, and free field trips to our building for local schools recognizing the vital role of arts education in promoting holistic health.
